Tout Terrain’s Metropolitan/Via Veneto platform offers a versatile, low-maintenance ride that’s just as comfortable exploring country roads on a week-long tour as it is helping you navigate the morning rush on your way to work. Like all the models in the brand’s Trekking lineup, the steel frame features comfortable, natural geometry and an integrated rear rack capable of hauling up to 88 pounds.

Depending on the build, these bikes can be both touring-tough and city-smooth with a balanced riding position that offers comfort on long rides but retains the agility you need to navigate through traffic. Disc brakes ensure reliable stopping power in all conditions, and the bikes are ready to accept a wide range of lighting solutions and other accessories.

Reliability and versatility are paramount for daily riders, so Metropolitan/Via Veneto allows for a range of choices in terms of drivetrain and wheel size. Standard models accept internal gear hubs including the premium Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 and trusted Shimano Alfine, which offer reliability and all-weather performance when paired with a belt system from Gates Carbon Drive. Of course, you can also run a derailleur or chain.

If you are looking for the comfort of high-volume rubber, the frame accepts 26˝ or 27.5˝ wheels with tires up to 2.35˝ wide. It is also optimized to run with faster-rolling 700c wheels paired with tires up to 42c wide.
